Rachel Anderson Snider

A leading Atlanta family law attorney, Rachel focuses on the positive resolution of complex, high-income and large-asset divorces. She works diligently with her clients and provides guidance through the legal process and the myriad issues that arise during divorce proceedings. In addition, Rachel painstakingly coordinates all aspects of the divorce process including, and not limited to, legal, financial, health, and, when children are involved, ensuring their best interests are met. Rachel strives to achieve results that encourage each client to move forward with their life.

Rachel began her legal career in Atlanta in 1991, practicing civil litigation for five years before starting her family law practice in 1996. Prior to joining Levine Smith Snider & Wilson in 2007, she was a partner with Macey, Wilensky, Cohen, Wittner and Kessler. Rachel is certified by the prestigious National Board of Trial Advocacy in Family Law and is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She often serves as a mediator or late-case evaluator for divorce cases, and is a frequent lecturer at family law seminars.

An Atlanta resident since 1979, Rachel was born in New Orleans and grew up in Manila, Philippines and Vestavia Hills, Alabama. She lives with her husband Gary in Buckhead. Rachel’s adult sons, Andrew and Riley, are both graduates of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and practice law in Atlanta. In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling, playing tennis, golf and cheering for her alma mater, the Alabama Crimson Tide.
